At Melora Archive, we take pride in offering beautifully crafted dresses, fragrances, and beauty-care products. Your satisfaction is important to us. Please review our return policy before completing your purchase.
Returns and Exchanges
You may request a return or exchange within 48 hours of delivery. All return requests require prior authorization from Melora Archive.
Requests submitted more than 48 hours after delivery will not be accepted.
Dress Return Eligibility
Each Melora Archive dress is delivered with a security ribbon stating:
“Do Not Remove Unless Satisfied.”
Please try on and carefully inspect your dress while the security ribbon remains attached. If the security ribbon is removed, cut, damaged, altered, or reattached, the dress becomes final sale and can no longer be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
To qualify for a return:
- The security ribbon must remain fully attached and intact.
- The dress must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
- The dress must be free from stains, makeup, deodorant, perfume, odors, pet hair, or other signs of wear.
- All original tags, protective coverings, and packaging must be included.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Beauty and Fragrance Return Eligibility
Beauty-care products and fragrances must be unused, unopened, and returned with their original seals and packaging intact.
For hygiene and safety reasons, any product that has been opened, tested, sprayed, sampled, or used cannot be returned or exchanged.
Restocking Fee
A 30% restocking fee will be deducted from all approved returns.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Dresses with a removed, cut, damaged, altered, or reattached security ribbon
- Made-to-order, customized, or altered dresses
- Worn, washed, stained, damaged, or altered items
- Opened, tested, sprayed, sampled, or used beauty-care and fragrance products
- Sale, clearance, archive-sale, and final-sale items
- Gift cards
- Items returned without prior authorization
- Items not returned in their original packaging
- Return requests submitted more than 48 hours after delivery
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact Melora Archive within 48 hours and include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs.
Once the issue is verified, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, exchange, or refund at no additional cost. The 30% restocking fee does not apply to verified damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
Return Process
- Contact Melora Archive within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and reason for the return.
- Once your request is approved, we will provide return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Return the item using a trackable and insured shipping service.
- Items returned without prior authorization may be refused.
Melora Archive is not responsible for returned packages that are lost or damaged in transit.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and carefully inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If the item meets all return requirements and shows no signs of wear, damage, alteration, washing, stains, makeup, perfume, odors, or use—and the security ribbon remains fully attached and intact—we will process the refund to your original payment method.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus the 30% restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping charges. Please allow 7–14 business days for the refund to be processed. Additional processing time may be required by your bank or payment provider.
